Brown Spots/Sun Spots

These are brown colored spots that develop in sun exposed areas, most commonly on the face. and hands. They are blotchy and unsightly.


HOW CAN THEY BE TREATED? Brown spots can be treated with  Intense Pulse Light therapy. This is achieved by the use of  Light based therapy, usually Intense Pulse Light

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED? Typically two treatments are required. But depending on response, an additional  session may be required. After treatment, time is spent in education regarding the use of sunscreens and topical agents to enhance the response and help to prevent the return of these spots.
